How do I export a story? Edited

I would like to export a JIRA story as a word file or pdf file. I don't see the "Export" option.

Hi Sujatha Veadpuriswaran and Welcome,

On Jira server you will find the option at the top-right in the Issue View:

On Cloud using the old Issue view it is also more or less in the same place:

On Cloud using the new issue view it is not possible, so you have two alternatives here:

1.- Disable the new issue view

2.- Follow the workaround provided in JRACLOUD-71111

Let us known if it works for you!

Regards

Thank you!

I was able to do it from the "Search Issue" mode.

You could also try Better PDF Exporter as an alternative of the built-in export feature. It supports Server, Data Center and Cloud, too.

It has a customizeable template to generate story cards, see the sample below.

(Disclaimer: I'm a developer working on this.)
