Hello.  I've been using JIRA for over a decade... now I am building an instance for our dev teams and exploring ways it might be deployed for non-technical purposes within our organization.

Hey Jira Community,

while I already feel pretty sure-footed in the world of Confluence, I started to deepen my Jira knowledge as well. Currently, I'm going through the 620 certification (Managing Jira Projects).

Wish me luck ;-)

Hi @[deleted] Perhaps you wish to consider coming to Team. We have training just for folks like you preparing for the ACP-620. Check it out here: https://events.atlassian.com/team23/training

Below is the course description.

Exam Success Accelerator for ACP-620 Managing Jira Cloud Projects
This accelerated certification prep gives you structured preparation for a successful exam – which would normally take weeks on your own. You’ll receive live teaching directly from the Atlassian Certification experts who wrote the exam - and you get to ask them questions! Included with this course is a voucher to take the exam for free.

You’ll also get:

Extra practice questions not found in the regular Exam Success course
Sandbox lab challenges for hands-on learning
A cloud environment to experiment
A classroom of students to learn as a team and network
If you’ve already taken the Managing Jira Projects course (or have equivalent experience) and want to speed up your exam preparation, this accelerator is for you.

Either way, good luck to you!

Hello @Joanna Thurmann,

that sounds very exciting and actually exactly what should get me ahead. However, I actually plan to be through with my 620 certification next week (fingers crossed), and secondly, my employer has a strict no-fly policy for sustainability and environmental reasons.

Will there be such a Success Accelerator in digital form, and for other certifications (ACP-120, Jira Admin)? That would be really good, because the content is really awesome for sure!

In any case, thank you very much and best regards from Cologne.

Hi @[deleted] For ACP-120, you're in luck!  There is already an on-demand course available: ACP-120 Jira Administration for Cloud Exam Success Course

So as soon as you pass 620 (fingers crossed), you can start studying for that one :-)

For now, the 620 Success accelerator is only at Team 23, but there will likely be an on-demand version in the future.

Hello everyone.

I've known Jira since 2020, but I really started learning about Jira around the end of 2022. Even though that I've only known Jira for a short time, I believe Jira is really exceptional, and I'm still in the early phases. and find out more about the features and ongoing activities

Looking forward to working more with you!

I am the Product owner at our company for Jira software and Jira Service Management.

While we have used JSM for 3 years now, we haven't done much with it beyond basic ticketing.  We use Jira software extensively, and have so for 8+ years, and will be looking into better usage of JSM.  Interesting to hear how other got some initial quick wins with JSM.

Hello, everyone! I'm new here

  • When did you first time find out about Jira? - when I became an Atlassian Customer Advocate
  • Where are you in the process of adopting Jira? Only considering it or already implemented and looking for some extension? - I use Jira Service Management as an agent and exploring becoming a Jira Admin or Jira Project Admin
  • Which topics about Jira are you interested in the most and what would help you with?  - I am interested in both Jira Software and JSM
  • Do you have any funny stories connected to Jira? - hmm... I think it's funny that I've been using Jira not knowing that I have been using it already.

Hi @Hana Kučerová ,

Nice to meet you!

I've started using Atlassian Products from 2014 and my journey started working with handling business users requirements and building workflows as per requirement . But still learning many things from it like new application integartion , supporting bussiness users to build complex workflows, automation rules etc. During starting days faced many problems for handling the business users. But learnt and moved from it. Now handling large system with more than 1000 users .

Thanks,

Vamshi

    - When I was new to jira admin role, enabled safe mode in production jira instead of non production. I did not realize it until users started complaining their functionalities are not working

Hi everyone!

I first found out about Jira a few years ago as my company used it. My team didn't use it much so it wasn't until about a year or two ago that I started using Jira for planning work. I currently use it every day at work and am excited to keep learning more tips and tricks :)

Hi everybody,

I´ve been using Jira since roundabout 2009. In one of my last Jobs a few years ago there was a need to dive deeper into the administrating the tool. That was a starting point of a big love :)

Over the past years I strive to get deeper and deeper an learn more about the whole toolchain, connecting other tools to jira, enabling propper workflows and business process automation.

Great to be on board here ;)

Best
Stefan

Hi all!

My name is Chris and I joined the Atlassian community a view weeks ago.

I'm using jira software and confluence since 5 years for different project management approaches.

A view months ago, I started a new job as an Application Manager for Jira & Confluence.

As I am getting deeper in touch with configuring and administrating, I really start to comprehend the full capabilities of this amazing tools and still I am thinking, that this is just the beginning...

I am really excited about the upcoming journey and glad to be part of this community.

Last but not least, I hope I can get in touch with equal minded Atlassian enthusiasts in this group, but I am quite sure about that ;)

Greetings from Germany

Chris
