add a file to a calendar event

Is there a way you can attach a file (i.e., slide deck) to a calendar event?  If not, what is a best practice?

Good morning, and thank you for raising this with us on Community!

You can't attach a file to an event because you need to connect them directly to a page. However, there's a feature request to be able to link to attachments in an event:

• CONFCLOUD-33463 link to an attachment from a team calendar event

A workaround would be to add a direct link to the page with the attachment.
