we want to use JIRA/Herzum to make a “work permit” solution for our organization, where a user “Joe” would create a work permit to do work, and then be able to easily add a list of people who need to “approve” the work, but only for a *specific* workflow step.
It seems to me that this could be done by having user Joe add the users “Suzy, Mark, and Jim” to a single multiple-users field called “Approval list”. The Herzum configuration would be set up such that at a specific workflow transition (“Start Work”) would be blocked until all three people in the field “Approval List” had approved the issue.
Is there a way to do this with Herzum? Is the feature planned?
Sorry for the delay.
The “work permit” solution you need, where a set of people need to “approve” the work, but only for a specific workflow step, such that the specific workflow transition is blocked until all people have approved the issue, is already provided the Herzum Approval add-on.
In order to provide you a detailed guide to configure the “work permit” solution you need, I have created, under our Confluence Documentation Space, a new page illustrating 'Multi-User Approval'.
Please, review the guide by following the link reported below:
