Hi MD5

Thanks for your interest in Zephyr

To start off, if you are not already aware, here is a link to our ZAPI Knowledge Base that has some samples that you can download and look at yourself:
https://support.getzephyr.com/hc/en-us/sections/200565819-Developer-Zone-ZAPI

Some of the samples include assignment and execution of tests in cycles

You can use various API resources in "http://docs.getzephyr.apiary.io/#"  to arrive at desired output.

ie to fetch execution ids for a project by passing the project id and cycle id "http://docs.getzephyr.apiary.io/#reference/executionresource/get-list-of-execution/get-list-of-execution"

You can bulk update or single update the execution status

http://docs.getzephyr.apiary.io/#reference/executionresource/update-bulk-execution-status/get-list-of-execution

http://docs.getzephyr.apiary.io/#reference/executionresource/update-execution-details/get-list-of-execution

Let us know if you have any further queries about the above mentioned

Thanks
