unable to communicate to jenkins from jira

jira is running with http protocol, jenkins is running with https protocol

Hi Udhay,

• Do you get any errors in your logs, e.g. PKIX Path Building Failed, hostname mismatch, etc?
• Are you able to successfully setup an application link between the two?

I would start by taking a look at your logs to see if there are any specific errors as mentioned above.  If you can setup Application links and everything else seems to be going through ok you may want to collect a tcpdump and see what's happening to the traffic.

Hopefully there's something in the logs that indicates what the issue is.  Let us know.

Hi Branden,

For me also same issue i done configuration on both ends.

In JIRA webhooks i mentioned Jenkins ip and in Jenkins configuration Jira sites are configured.

But no updates get in jenkins.

Will you please provide me solution and suggest me command to test JIRA response from Jenkins.
