sub task transition based on parent issue transition

Hi ,

I need a help in configuring workflow of a project in JIRA.

My requirement is that sub task transition should change based parent issue transition.

So if parent issue is on hold, sub task should go to on hold transition.

I got to know that its possible with Misc workflow transition plugin but we are not planning to use it, Let me know if any other way is their to do it?

1. You can write your own plugin for it
2. Try using Script Runner, namely script postfunction to run scipt.
