stripping commas from custom text fields..

I am using a "custom listener" to create an email based on the value of a check bow.  In the body of the email, i am adding custom field values from the ticket.  However, custom fields that are single lines of text are coming in with each character separated by commas.

for example...

Contact #: <% out <<  cfValues['Employee Phone Number_']*.value %>

returns

Contact #: [3, 2, 1, 6, 5, 4, 9, 8, 7, 6]

which is not the most readable...

How can i strip out the commas?

Chuck

Just remove the *.value . That's for multi-selects and checkboxes generally
