issuepicker plugin problem in HTTPS

Olivier Arnaud June 24, 2015

We have issuepicker plugin activated in Jira. Our version is JIRA 6.4 .
It perfectly works in HTTP.

But when we try to use it in HTTPS it can't activate and we find the following error message :

2015-06-18 16:08:11,621 http-bio-8009-exec-346 ERROR clegendre 968x55846x2 bybx5b 87.255.151.38,172.16.0.243 /rest/viewIssue/1/remoteIssueLink/render/11418 [viewissue.issuelink.rest.RemoteIssueLinkResource] Error occurred while generating final HTML for remote issue link: java.lang.RuntimeException: Failed to parse Confluence Remote API response Caused by: org.xml.sax.SAXParseException; lineNumber: 1; columnNumber: 50; White spaces are required between publicId and systemId.

We already tried to reindex Jira and Confluence but the problem remains the same.

Hi Benito,

Thank you for your answer. It seems this occurs when JIRA has HTTPS. But we did not invesigate deeper. We deactivated the plugin because for now it seems to be incompatible with JIRA 6.4.

If we have new problems with a new version of Issuepicker we will open a new issue to you.

Thank you for your help.

Hi Olivier,

Could you expand a bit more on this? Does JIRA and Confluence have HTTPS? Does it occur only when JIRA has HTTP and Confluence has HTTPS?

Apart from the logged error mentioned, did you see anything mentioning SSL errors as well?
