is it possible in JIRA JQL to search for assignee of specific user custom field value?

Hello,

we are using JIRA 7.2.7. and the plugin Project Team v3.5.0

I am wondering if it is possible to search in JQL for assignee with a specific user custom field provided by the plugin?

To be more specific: We have big projects with hundreds of developers, working in separate disciplines such as HMI, Security, Bus, etc. I was thinking of assigning the users of each discipline to a pre-defined user custom field. So it would be very important to get some statistics regarding involved disciplines and their percentage involvement in the project. Therefore it would be useful at least for being able to search for that specific fields like: assignee in property("discipline", "HMI")

and collect the issues for them... or to have a field available to search explicitly for this, or to be able to re-use that information in another statistic plugin like eazyBI
