email the issue without the issue?

Hello

Is there a way to use the email the issue button without including the issue details. 

i.e. send a custom email without including the JIRA details and links.

Hi Ben,

Surely there is a way. You must create a new template that excludes issue details. Associate this template with your project, and then all outgoing emails will not contain the issue details.
