can't delete test step in Zephyr

I am unable to delete test steps in Zephyr, the browser hangs and I get a DELETE method error from the rest API. I see the following in the Web Inspector console:

DELETE http://jira.xxxxxxxxxx.co.nz/rest/zephyr/latest/teststep/10021/39?id=39 403 (Access Denied)
batch.js:6ajax[78358495] error : { successful : false, status : 403, statusText : error, hasData : true, readyState : 4, requestId : 78358495, aborted : undefined, }
com.thed.zephyr.je:zephyr-je-steps.js:404TypeError: 'undefined' is not an object (evaluating 'JIRA.Templates.Common.serverErrorDialog')

I have deployed to /opt on the Linux server and changed ownership of the home logs, temp and work installation directories and changed owner on the home directory as instructed in the install guide.

What is causing access denied for Zephyr here? is it the DB - although I granted all privileges to the jira user that I am running the DB under.

Hi,

Per your message directly to Zephyr Support, the issue is that the proxy isn't passing the delete method through. You are currently working to troubleshoot it. Feel free to contact us directly at Zephyr Support for continued support of any Zephyr for JIRA issues.

Kind Regards,

Chris
