Looks like a great plugin.
Though I wonder if I could do the following:
- create a project issue
- if(!) that issue has a certain component (eg 'design'), auto-create a sub-ticket for 'design'
- repeat that same process for other components or custom fields
I have been able to auto-generate sub-tickets, but haven't managed to do this based on variables.
There is an issue CSOT-16 to add conditioning, however, you may be indicating additional needs. Comment on the existing issue and create an issue for your use case that isn't covered there.
