Will the Google Maps plugin ever be updated to work?

The Google Maps plugin for Confluence has been broken since version 0.7.1 and Confluence 3.5.x. In current versions of the plugin almost all of the functionality is broken. Several parameters are ignored, most importantly for us the Info parameter does not display the designated info. Most of the advanced features of the maps (such as hiding controls) also appears broken.

That does not answer my question. The bugs still exist and the plugin has not functioned properly for roughly a year or more. I'm asking if this free plugin will ever be updated to fix all of those issues.
