Why does the Readme Parser plugin add a non-functioning XXX menu item to the Admin panel?

After installing this plugin on Stash 2.0.0 I get an "XXX" menu item at the bottom of the "plugin" admin panel. It points to:

https://stash.example.com/plugins/servlet/$%7BnavBuilder.buildRelNoContext()%7D/plugins/readmeparser

I get a 404 if I click it.

Reinstalling the ReadMe Parser plugin has eliminated the problem.
