Why checklist type field is not available to configure in "Issue Details View" in Agile board configuration

Our users want to add checklist type field in the  "Issue Details View"  in Agile board configuration page. Seems like, this field is not available to pick from the list of fields when trying to add in Agile board configuration page  "Issue Details View"

Why checklist type field is not available to configure in "Issue Details View"  in Agile board?

To reproduce this:

Step1> Pick a Agile board

Step2> Go to "Board Configuration" page

Ste3> Click "Issue Detali View"

Step4> Look for field of type checklist under > General Fields>Field Name dropdown box

Hi Muhammad,

There is a bug in JIRA Agile which prevents a Checklist to be displayed in the Details View. However, there is a temporary workaround. Please read the following link to get the information:

Hi Muhammad,

We have finally implemented it and stopped waiting for Atlassian to do the fix. It will be released in a few weeks and at most early April 2018
