Hi there!
Is there any way I can add the Signatures macro to a Global Page Template?
We would like to use the Electronic Signing for Confluence Cloud addon to have staff sign-off on certain types of Confluence documents.
These documents are generated from Global Page Templates that we configure to standardise the layout of different document types.
When I try to add the Signatures macro to a Global Page Template, it fails with the message:
"There is no metadata configured for this macro which means no configuration screen can be presented here."
It would make things efficient and neat if I could define the place for the Signature Macro to appear in the Page Template. Otherwise, users generating pages from the template have to remember to add the Signatures Macro after the page is created. They often forget :)
Thanks!
Hi Josh,
You can use the "Controlled document" template to create a page with the Signature Macro pre-populated. See here for details: http://jpw.nyc/projects/cc-document-control/#creating

Jason
