When I generate a license for a partner app (purchases in Marketplace), does Atlassian generate the license, or does the partner?

Hi @Scott Pattinson,

All licenses sold through the Atlassian Marketplace are generated by Atlassian using the same licensing encoding processes we use for our own products. Add-ons from our partners implement our licensing API – the ability to sell an add-on without having to build out their own licensing and sales infrastructure is one of the reasons I believe our Marketplace has been so successful.

I believe all quotes coming directly from the Marketplace without a third-party disclaimer are coming directly from Atlassian.
