What is a best workaround to categorize different checklists?

I am pretty new to JIRA and been learning it on my own. I currently got access to my organization's web server. Before I attempt to tweak any code in the server, is there a way to create extra tab to create two columns on different checklists?

Sorry for the late reply. Somehow, I didn't get the notification. Do you want to create 2 different tabs in JIRA with different Checklists in each of them? Or do you want to create tabs in Checklist?

Checklist doesn't support tabs but JIRA does. So you can create tabs on an issue screen and then associate 2 different checklist customfield to each tab.
