What are the licensing terms for Script Runner

As with all free and open source software, my company's lawyers must review and approve the licensing terms for a product before it may be used. Many free plugins on the Atlassian site include a link to their licensing terms, but Script Runner does not. Can you please provide this information?

Joe,

The Script Runner Add-On has been acquired recently by Adaptavist and as such the license terms can be found here:

http://www.adaptavist.com/display/Plugins/Adaptavist+End+User+License+Agreement

It is still free.

Mark get you get some clarification of what section 4.3 means? Ianal

That should have said "please could you"

Matt, I'd be happy to but I cannot find a section 4.3 in the Adaptavist EULA and there is no 4.3 in the Atlassian EULA either? Did you mean a different section or have I missed something?

For the add ons that are available through the marketplace and doesn't add any EULA specific terms themselves - the marketplace license is usually what you agree to: https://www.atlassian.com/licensing/marketplace/termsofuse

You might want to drop in an issue at https://jamieechlin.atlassian.net/secure/Dashboard.jspa for clarification though.

Thanks Daniel, We're happy to answer this question in either place. I am working with Jamie Echlin in the Adaptavist London office. I'll look into this question specifically as to whether the Atlassian Marketplace terms or Adaptavist terms are appropriate or whether it is a combination of both. We will likely go through a transition from Jamie's site to the Adaptavist site over the coming months. regards, Mark.

Daniel, I've read through the Atlassian Marketplace Terms Of Use and I'd like to quote section 3 (ii) which states that if there is a Publisher EULA it essentially overrides the Atlassian's EULA (as you stated). Thanks for pointing that out for us.
