Using Xporter with Database Custom Field Table - Format Array into a table

Ben Bramson August 10, 2017

Hey Everyone,

I'm working with an internal client who needs to read values from an Access Database and have them available in JIRA. To accopmlish this we are using Databse Custom Field for them to select a value then a Database Custom Field Table is populated based on what they select.

My problem is that they would also like to use Xporter to have a printable work order. I have used Xporter with other similar plugins but they all returned html. It looks like the table returns the array to Xporter. Is there a way to have Xporter parse that array into a table?

I have pasted a sample dataset below, with the data replaced by the column header with a number after it.

Thanks Everyone!

This is what shows up in the Xporter .pdf:

[[BCR NUMBER, JOB_ID, HULL_ID, MATERIAL LOCATION, PART_NBR, QTY], [BCR NUMBER1, JOB_ID1 HULL_ID1, MATERIAL LOCATION1, PART_NBR1, QTY1], [BCR NUMBER2, JOB_ID2, HULL_ID2, MATERIAL LOCATION2, PART_NBR2, QTY2]]
