Using Jira Service desk like email Edited

My team have been using Support Center Plus for years, and it has been (and still is) fantastic in the way it groups our external clients by domain, and also allows the support team to send emails directly to and from the request. Unfortunately we have been forced on to (and will have to migrate to) Jira Service desk, which quite frankly, isn't the ideal platform as it doesn't suit my teams needs as we cater for our external clients (for example, it extracts the text and puts the images as attachments, making it impossible for us to know which image a client is referring to when they take screen shots). Are there plug ins that will allow us to receive requests like an email, and resply/forward (as well as use CC and BCC just like normal email applications) these emails through Jira Service Desk?
