Using Behaviours for required field

I am using Behaviours to set a field as required depending the value of another field.

The problem is that when I go in Edit mode in an issue that already has a value in the required field, when I press update JIRA complains like the required field does not have any value. I I just click in the field and press Update again it saves the issue.

Any suggestions?
