Users are reporting subject field duplicating itself

When using the Email This Issue functionality,. our users are reporting that the subject field is being duplicated or doubled.

For example, I sent myself an email from a JIRA ticket (titled New Issue) using the Email This Issue plugin and I got an email but the subject looked like this: Website [CS-1234] New Issue New Issue

I investigated the plugin configuration, but we are currently using the default setup and are not utilizing templates. Why is the subject text being repeated? What can we do to fix this?

After posting this, I went back and made sure I have the most current version of the plugin and realized that I needed to update it. After updating to v5.1.2, the issue is no longer reproducable.
