Upgrade of Confluence 3.5.17 to 5.1.4, problems with numberedheading plugin

Kjell Lauren July 15, 2013

We upgraded Confluence from 3.5.17 to 5.1.4 via 4.3.7 and now we have a bunch of pages where pages using the numberedheadings plugin is not migrated. Pages state: Unknown macro: {numberedheadings} The content of the page is within the unmigrated-wiki-markup block.

Numbered Headings plugin has version 2.3.4

Is there some way to fix all the pages via the upgrade (without having to do it manually)? We have some 1800 pages...

Hi Kjell,

I encountered the same problem: in the latest version, support for the wiki-markup was dropped, causing this problem.
I fixed it by removing version 2.3.4 and manually installing 2.3.1 (the latest compatible version with wiki markup support). You can get this version here: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/download/plugins/nl.avisi.confluence.plugins.numberedheadings/version/77 and can install it manually in the "Manage add-ons" page -> Upload plugin.

After installation, you can convert the existing pages.

Cheers,

Tom
