Upgrade Xporter for Jira gradually ?

werner kolze July 4, 2017

we have upgraded the Xporter plugin from 3.4.5 to 5.1.1  server

running JIRA 6.4.9 ( planning to upgrade to Jira 7.x this year )

our templates worked with nFeed and Calculated fields and formatting dates etc.

now it does not anymore -

like a simple nFeed custom field defined as

${ABCD - Ship}

does not work anymore

I had to change to

${html:ABCD - Ship}

the dateformat for a calculated field was

${dateformat(dd/MM/yyyy):Technical date}

and it worked fine

now it does not

I changed it, according to the Xpand documentation, to:

${dateformat("dd/MM/yyyy"):Technical date}

but it shows only a blank field now

I did raise this with Xpand and they are trying to assist us.

I was wondering whether anyone lese has  / had the same problem?

Similar?

Should I roll back to 3.4.5. and gradually upgrade to say 4.x.x , or any other version?

Thanks in advance

Hi werner kolze,

I think the problem is related with the new nFeed custom fields.

Just the old one (deprecated) is working fine.

There is a bug opened related with that.

Take a look here.

Is the same problem rigth?

Cheers,

Rui Rodrigues.

Hi Rui,

yes, same problem

I have now rolled back to version 3.4.5, because I could not get the templates to work with any other lower version.
