I am trying to do some magic..
Issues are created by a "Integration user" with REST API which sets Reported by to this user.
When the issue is created I have cf email and user that are in the JIRA user database.
What I am trying to do is Update the Reported by to the actual user that is referred to (email/user) and not the Integration user..
Users should then be able to Filter on Reported by Me.

When creating an issue with REST API you can change the reporter field to a user you need. You can find an example here:

Think this solution can be used.. Just need to do some tricks in the end that creates the issue...
