Timer and Slider do not work in time.ON 1.8 installed in JIRA 5.2.3?

I would like to track time using the time.ON add-on (version 1.8 / JIRA 5.2.3). Unfortunately, neither the timer nor the slider does work:

  • The timer is not persistent. For instance, if I reload the dashboard that shows a timer running, the timer will have been disabled again after the reload.
  • The slider is not shown at all. Instead, next to the timer button, there is blank space only.

Are those issues known? I tried both Google Chrome and Firefox, but time.ON does not work in neither.

  • The Timer does not work on the System Dashboard as it requires write access. You have to add an own Dashboard. There, the Timer works as expected.
  • The Slider was removed in version 1.6.7. However, the official documentation still, confusingly enough, mentiones this feature.
