Tempo - team timesheet for just one project.

Rafael Cedrez February 10, 2015

Hi guys,

i have a tempo team that includes some users but, one of them have access to various JIRA projects (let's say 1, 2 and 3) because he works in two or more projects.

The Tempo Team (where this multi-project user is included) is linked just to one project ("1") but, when i get the Team's timesheet it includes the user's hours for all the projects he is included (1, 2 and 3), not just the project to wich the team is linked.

Is this normal?

Is there any way to get the timesheet just for one project, even when some users are included on many projects?

Thanks in advance.

Rafael

Hi Rafael,

the Team Timesheet displays all worklogs done by Team members but dependent on the permissions of the viewer only limited information is displayed.

You can view all worklogs on one Project in the Project Timesheet. This Timesheet will show you all worklogs on Issues in the Project, also the ones done by Users that are not in the Team. To view this, you need to be in the "Tempo Project Manager" role for the Project.

To view only the worklogs the Team made in one Project, you can create a JIRA filter and view it in the Advanced Timesheet. You need to use the Team custom field to do so (https://tempoplugin.jira.com/wiki/display/TEAMS/Teams+Custom+Field). You can then set the Team to the Issues Team members are logging work on (this can be done by bulk editing the Issues ) and base the JIRA filter on Project and Team. This filter can then be viewed in the Advanced Timesheet (https://tempoplugin.jira.com/wiki/display/TEMPO0711/Advanced+Timesheet).

Regards,

Susanne
