Tempo stuck on entering actual times on days with plan-times

Stefan Hamann September 15, 2013
When you try to enter an actual work time (Action: Arbeitszeit buchen) for days where a plan time (Planzeit) was given then the popup dialog does not close proberly . The animation for being busy is displayed "forever". When using the browser Back button and refreshing the timetable the last booking WAS DONE properly. Entering actual times on fays without plan times works fine. Tempo Plugin Version: 7.3.2.1 on jira 5.0.2. What can be done to avoid the situation that the Tempo dialog gets stuck?

Hi again,

can you create an issue in our Tempo support (https://tempoplugin.jira.com/browse/JTS) and send us the logs of this problem. I have tried to recreate this and cannot do it.

Regards

Susanne

Hello Susanne,

thank you for your help.
In the meantime we were able to reproduce the issue running a script debugger:

I hope this helps a bit to narow the problem.

Unfortunately switching browsers is not an option for our customer BayernLB.

Hi Stefan,

we are not fixed on any browser, Tempo Timesheets should run equally smooth independent of the browser you are using. We are going to take a look at this problem in connection with other browser issues.

Hi Stefan

Tempo Timesheets 7.3.2.1 is almost a year old version and I can t reproduce this in Tempo 7.6.3 as it is the latest version for JIRA 5.0.

I suggest that you upgrade Tempo Timesheets

Hello,

thank you for the hint unfortunately the update of the plugin did not solve our problem. It seems IE-related as the firefox does not show the problem.

Are you using IE or other browsers?

kind regards

Stefan Hamann
