Tempo Weeks vs. Periods

In Tempo, you can choose to manage worklogs by week or period. If you choose weeks (e.g. to match sprints, etc.), will this affect other reporting that you want to manage on a monthly basis? Our company runs on a monthly basis, but our teams run on a weekly basis. We would like to report on billings, etc. monthly but still use weeks for worklog approvals, etc. Thanks

Hi,

You can do just that. Set the timesheet workflow to weekly and the teams will use a weekly approval process. The company wide cycles are always period so it should not make difference to you. You just need to make sure that when reporting for a month that all the weeks in the month have been approved.
