Tempo Timesheets and Jira Time Tracker

Should I deactivate Time Tracking in Jira if using Tempo Timesheets? If I do this how do I add the estimated effort to the Jira issue?

Hi Simon,

you need the JIRA Time Tracking to be enabled, else you will not be able to use the Time tracking in Tempo Timesheets.

You might consider to disable the JIRA Log work dialog, especially when you are using Tempo worklog attributes. These attributes will only show in the Tempo Log Work dialog. Please take a look at http://www.tempoplugin.com/faq/how-can-i-disable-the-jira-log-work-dialog/for more information on how to do this.

Kind regards

Susanne

I should have mentioned I am using Jira OnDemand. Looks like I can only disable log work for the download version. Happy to get clarification on Jira Time Tracking though, thank you.
