Is there any option in Tempo to mark absent "A", when the user missed to enter the time in a day or when he really absent? Since when we track resource hours in a project, we come across some issues like "in a day, resource missed to enter the time or he was absent". This is becoming horrible to us when resource really missed to enter the time and we loose some what of billed hours in a project, when we claim to our customers.

As of now we are coordinating each and every resource, if he missed to enter the time and if he really missed then we enter the hours manually after generating the excel sheet from JIRA.

Please let me know do we have any option?

Hi Shridhar,

How we do this is to set up Internal Issues to track absent time. For that we have a special "Internal" project with issues such as "Sick", "On Vacation", "Parental Leave", etc.

So to answer the question "was the user absent or missed to enter the time" is easy because time entered on internal issues + time on project issues should equal the user's required hours. If not, then he has not entered all is hours (which could either be project work or absent time).

Hope this helps!
