Alexey Eronko August 25, 2013

Hi!

Is it possible to operate some system variables for created issues.

For example , create issue with Subject which containts current $month or $fulldate of creation.

Regards,

Alexey

Since TheScheduler version 3.2.5 you can use following variables for created issues Summary and Description:

${createdDate.month} - Creation month

${createdDate.year} - Creation year

${dueDate.month} - Due month

${dueDate.year} - Due year

${createdDate.date} - Creation date in format DD/MMM/YY

${dueDate.date} - Due date in format DD/MMM/YY

${createdDate.completeDateTime} - Creation date in format DD/MMM/YY hh:mm

${dueDate.completeDateTime} - Due date in format DD/MMM/YY hh:mm

We are sorry for the late reply, but we didn't received notifications despite registering as watchers on our plugin topics.

I'm using the ${createdDate.year} variable for the Summary of my scheduled issue of which the issue type is Epic. I'm trying to use the same variable for the Epic Name but it's not transferring to the actual year in the Epic Name, it's staying as ${createdDate.year}. Can I not use a variable in the Epic Name? Any other workarounds available?

Much thanks!
