Syncing components field for 3 issuetype layers?

I would like to sync the component field between 3 layers of issues:

"FR" (a custome issuetype) -> Epic -> Story

I wonder if it's possible to do that with the Automation for JIRA?

Hi Alexander,

Sorry for the slow response.  Unfortunately we don't have a more optimised way for this yet. We're already tracking this at https://codebarrel.atlassian.net/browse/AUT-309.

We've got quite a few higher priority items in our backlog at the moment so it will be a while before we can get to this, but we'll let you know when we get a chance to work on this.

But please let me know if I can execute the syncronisation in a more optimal way? Because I have to sync the epics to stories as well.

Getting the same issue as my first post, I feel like it's either too much for the add-on or I'm not doing it correctly?
