Summary in email with link to my requests

Dave Kleihorst April 23, 2019

In outgoing mail, we have created an email template for customers which contains:

"#renderSummary($!issue)"

This options will give a summary in the email including hyperlink to the issue in the backend. The reporter is someone who doesn't have access to the backend. In this case it would make more sense if the hyperlink of summary was directing to the portal where he/she can see "my requests" and not the backend.

How can I make this possible? If it isn't possible, how can I remove the hyperlink from "summary"?

Thanks!
Dave

In order to remove the hyperlink, please use:

<!--
#macro (renderMySummary $issue)
$!issue.summary
#end
-->

Hi Dave,

if it so happens that you are unable to achieve this using the Email Issue app, you will for sure be able to achieve it with other apps such as JMWE or ScriptRunner.
