Hi,

the

Caused by: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: Class 'com.atlassian.jira.plugin.ext.subversion.revisions.RevisionIndexService' not found.
in line 43 is the inital error you have.
It tells you that a jar file is missing that contains this class.
Please check if you have copied the latest version of the subversion plug-in (which is compatible with your JIRA 5.2.5.) to the /atlassian-jira/WEB-INF/lib folder of your JIRA installation path.
The plug-in consists of three jars:
atlassian-jira-subversion-plugin-0.10.11.1.jar
svnkit-1.7.4.jar
trilead-ssh2-build213-svnkit-1.3-patch.jar
You need all of them in the /atlassian-jira/WEB-INF/lib folder.

The missing class can be found inside the jar under the following path:

atlassian-jira-subversion-plugin-0.10.11.1.jar\com\atlassian\jira\plugin\ext\subversion\revision\RevisionIndexService

Hope that helps,

Thomas

I allways copied the files but never checked it up. It was problem in security settings.

Thanks Thomas

Hello!

I have upgraded JIRA from 4.4.4 through 5.2.11 to 6.1.3. In 4.4.4 a subversion plugin was installed and working. Now I'm getting

JIRA Subversion plugin was uninstalled and installed again, version is the latest (0.10.13).

Should I copy JAR files mentioned by Thomas Heyne? Where can I get it? I thought that installing plugin with Universal Plugin Manager is enough to get it working.
With regards
Leos

I'm currently talking about my issue with Atlassian support. I found, that mentioned RevisionIndexService.class is available in JIRA Subversion Plugin 0.10.11.1, but it is not included in JIRA Subversion plugin 0.10.13, that is dedicated for JIRA 6.x. I'm really curious for the reason of that.

Looking back, I it would have been better to uninstall Subversion plugin first (before upgrade) and install it again after upgrade.
