Structure Plug-in - cannot run auto-sync warning message

JoeR August 14, 2013

Getting this warning since this person terminated from the company in July. This reappears in the log every few minutes and has for several months. Is it LDAP related? What does the error mean and how do I eliminate? Thanks.

Joe, this means that there's a synchronizer (an automatic background process) installed by this user, which now unable to update a structure. To get rid of this message, you need to locate that synchronizer and delete it.

Unfortunately there's no information in the log about the ID of the structure or the synchronizer. Perhaps this is due to the old version of Structure plugin. You can upgrade Structure to the latest version and watch for IDs in the logs, or you can go through structures and look for this stray synchronizer.

To do that, you'll need to open Structure | Manage Structure menu, select "All" tab, and look for structures that have something in the "Sync With" column, especially if there are question marks. You can click "Settings" to open the details of the synchronization set up for a structure, and there you can see the user that runs them and delete unwanted synchronizers.

Hope this helps! More information is in the docs: https://wiki.almworks.com/x/hQBg
