Stash Realtime Editor cannot commit

I'm testing the new Stash Realtime Editor. But it fails to commit...:

Run

git config --global user.email "you@example.com"
git config --global user.name "Your Name"

to set your account's default identity.
Omit --global to set the identity only in this repository.

fatal: empty ident name (for <XXXXXXXXXX>) not allowed

Thanks for the report! Sorry I didn't see this earlier - I haven't been monitoring answers relating to the plugin.

I've raised an issue to get this fixed for the next version (due out shortly):
