Stack Trace (Script Runner)

Angus Law November 3, 2014

Hi,

I was referred here by Atlassian Support who said to ask about the following stack trace which may be causing a memory leak in our Production instance of JIRA. Can you help shed some light on the below?

2014-10-30 14:04:12,459 http-bio-8080-exec-5547 ERROR Sergiu.Valean@thomsons.com 843x1619553x1 1t6g40z 192.168.112.97 /secure/QuickCreateIssue.jspa [onresolve.jira.groovy.GroovyFunctionPlugin] Script post-function failed on TOWERGATE-334: C:\Program Files\Atlassian\Application Data\JIRA\data\Groovy Scripts\createPS.groovy
javax.script.ScriptException: javax.script.ScriptException: java.lang.NullPointerException: Cannot get property 'id' on null object

Thanks,

Angus

I doubt it's causing a memory leak, but your first step to solve it is to look at

C:\Program Files\Atlassian\Application Data\JIRA\data\Groovy Scripts\createPS.groovy

and see what's wrong with it... Or you can remove it from whatever workflow the TOWERGATE-334 issue uses.
