Sorting scripted field

Hello

I'm using "Total time this issue has been In Progress" scripted field but i have a problem with sorting search results within jira.

It doesn't matter whether it is used as text, number or duration.
It is possible to sort it once it's already exported, but it would be nice to have a nice view on outstanding tickets without that.

Are you using the correct searcher? On the Scripted Fields page, change the Template to "Duration". Then go to Admin -> Custom Fields -> (your field) -> Configure.

Change the searcher to "Duration Searcher."

You may need to reindex after that.

Sigh... i was looking for that in the script field configuration in the addon section. i figured that maybe this feature was removed.

Even though, to be precise it's in the edit menu not configure :)
