Servicerocket for Jira Cloud - Does it run as installing user or current user?

Deleted user August 30, 2017

Does anyone know if Servicerocket runs as the current user or if it runs as the user that installed it?

The reason I ask is that I want to know if I need to create an integration user in Jira for the connector or if I can just install it under my own Jira account.

What I don't want is for the integration to break if I happen to leave the company some day.

On the Jira side, it is using the add-on user(Salesforce & Jira Cloud Connector) which is under the Project Role (atlassian-addons-project-access). Therefore, you no need to create a user in Jira for integration.

On the Salesforce side, yes, you will need to have a user for integrating the Salesforce and Jira.

I hope it clarifies!
