ScriptRunner for Bitbucket - for Project/Repo owners or only Sysadmins?

Colin Graham December 5, 2017

We are considering ScriptRunner for Bitbucket. Can someone please comment on whether or not any of its capabilities are configurable by a Project and/or Repository owner? (Versus: or is all configuration restricted to someone with the Bitbucket instance Admin or System Admin permission)?

For example, I would like teams to be able to manage their own "enforce commits to relate to a Jira ticket" settings. (Conversely, there may be some functionality I do not want typical users to access.)

Thank you in advance!

Hi Colin,

Most of the built-in functionality is available to repository admins to configure. But we sandbox the scripting part to only allow simple use of the API for security reasons.

Everything is configurable by an admin or sys admin.

Please read here for more details on configuring items per repository.

Thanks,
Adam
