ScriptRunner compatible with Jira Data Center

Daniel Beneyto July 27, 2015

Hello there,

We have JIRA Data Center environment and some of our users are requesting us to install ScriptRunner.
We've installed it in our DEV environment and seems to be working OK but, it indicates that is not compatible with JIRA Data Center.

Can we install ScriptRunner in our JIRA Data Center production environment safely or we will "loose" Atlassian support if the plugin is not compatible ?

 Thanks. Regards,

Please see https://jamieechlin.atlassian.net/browse/GRV-528, you can drop us a link to get the DC-compatible version.

Some things are not going to be OK, although you may not notice for a while. For example if you set up a new listener on one node, it won't execute on events on the other node (until restarted). Similar issues with script fields.

Daniel,

We have been working on a JIRA Data Center compatible version and it will be released around the 1st September, 2015.

Please see our announcement blog for more information as it will become a paid Add-on.
