Retrospectively assigning Toggl time entries to JIRA issues

Tristan Mitchell January 7, 2015

We've been using Joggler for a while and find it extremely useful. We've come across an issue recently though.

One of our Toggl users was logging time against the wrong Toggl project so that time was not being assigned to the JIRA issue. I've since updated all of their Toggl entries to be logged against the correct Toggl project (the one linked with the JIRA project) but the time is still not added to JIRA. Is there a way to trigger a refresh or update or something?

Cheers,

Tristan

Hi Tristan

Thanks, this is a bug in Joggler. Providing only the key should be enough. I will try to fix this in the next version.

We may have found the problem. The 'Description' field that the user added was the JIRA issue key and no further text. Adding text after the issue key in the description means that it gets added to JIRA by Joggler on the next refresh cycle.
