Hi
Could you provide a description of the data contained in the JSON response from the
endpoint?
For example, this data seems inconsistent:
{"success":true,"error":"","size":2,"totalSize":0,"maxViews":2,"results":[{"formattedViewDate":"Jun 05, 2018","viewDate":1528182000000,"uniqueUsers":0,"views":0},{"formattedViewDate":"Sep 03, 2018","viewDate":1536044399999,"uniqueUsers":0,"views":0}],"total":2,"_links":{"base":"https://confluence.example.com/confluence","context":"/confluence"}}
The values for maxViews and total are both 2, whereas the results array shows that there were no views.
thanks
Bernard
Hi Bernhard
I'm from bitvoodoo and first sorry that we didn't seen this question here, don't wait in the future and contact us directly at https://support.bitvoodoo.ch :-)
It seems to be correct that you are confused about this {{maxView}} parameter. I created a ticket to clearify this and to change this if it's not needed.
I suspect, that the maxView parameter is just a counter of maxEntries within the timeline and because we fill the timeline with 0 values at some points so that the graph is more specific this miscount happens.
I opened a ticket to follow up this issue, just watch it
https://bitvoodoo.atlassian.net/browse/VIEWTRACKER-334
Btw: Because we have birthday we offer some of our apps for free (including Viewtracker too )https://www.bitvoodoo.ch/free-app
Cheers
Oli
Hi Bernhard
We already checked it and we will remove the maxView property in that response.
Thank you
Oli
