Project 2014 support

Renato Rigato January 5, 2016

I work at a large development company and we would like to use the MS Project export to backup data and pass printed copies around. Now, BigPicture does seem to have this option next to Excel. And while Excel works, Project does not - it does generate a file for download, but I can't open it in any way on Project 2014. Am I missing something?

Hi,

The current export mechanism generates a filetype for older Project versions that may be wonky on 2010 upwards. We will add support for newer filetypes very soon, in the meantime you can also install 1 instance of older Project (such as 2007 - need to enable legacy format support in options), open the file there once, and save it to a different format to distribute around.
