Problems importing JIRA API libraries

I have problem importing some libraries in my plugin project such as com.atlassian.jira.util.JiraUtils and com.atlassian.jira.ManagerFactory. I have uncommented the jira-core in my pom file and clean rebuilt the plugin and still the same issue. Does anyone have any idea why that would be? Thank you.

Did you rebuild the plugin project? Create a clean project and make sure you refresh the project in the IDE.
