We’re in the middle of a critical JIRA migration, and we’re relying on Project Configurator. Despite having run several successful mock conversions, we are now experiencing a problem. Here are some of the details and things we have tried to work around the problem:
PROBLEM: Project Configurator states “Configuration export finished” but then runs forever – must restart JIRA to try again
JIRA version 7.4.1
Project Configurator version 2.2.2-J7
Has anyone had this problem with Project Configurator or similar behavior? Any suggestions/tip/solutions?
Thanks!
Hi Steve,
Thank you for your question.
Can you please confirm if you have tried updating to the latest version of the Plugin which is 2.3.5-J7 that can be downloaded here in order to see if this resolves the issues you are having with taking an export.
If this answer has solved your issue can you please accept it in order to mark this answer as correct for users who are searching for a similar issue.
Thanks
Kristian
Unfortunately, we had to take a different approach to work around the problem. Since that effort in October was a one-time event, we have not attempted to recreate those conditions. In other words, we are not able to test any patch since we don't have any environments to test it on.
