I would like to see at one glance what JIRA issue was associated to a mail, either by creating an issue from this mail or commenting an issue from it. If more than one issue was associated (e.g. by commenting more issues from one mail), I would like to see the last one. The issue id should be displayed in an extra column in the message view, e.g. right beside the 'sent' date. I am using Outlook 14.0 myself, but hoping for a more 'general' solution not relying on this specific version.
Not sure if this is an option but the Outlook App for Jira does that automatically for you.
It adds a little icon to the emails and you can also filter on them or create a special search folder to automatically see emails to tickets.
From an Outlook perspective this feature needs to be implemented by the addon creator. Not sure if there is anything you can do on your own.
